An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Beat Keeper on a 3,500 acre family run estate in Sussex. The successful applicant will need to be self motivated, approachable, well presented and have an eye for detail in all aspects of game-bird husbandry, and wildlife management.
The successful applicant will be working alongside the Head Keeper, but must have the initiative to work alone at times. Good communication skills are essential, with the ability to run their own beat.
Applicants should have at least three years’ keepering experience, a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude and be a good team player.
Required:
Full driving licence
Shotgun/Firearms certificates
Own working dogs
Preferred/ Not essential:
DSC1 Certificate
Game/Meat Hygiene Certificate
ATV Certificates
Brushcutter/Chainsaw Certificates
